Our chef is called Chanoknart Kongsuk but for friends Jeab. Jeab was born and raised in the village of Cha Uat in the beautiful city of Nakhon Si Thammarat in Southern Thailand. From a young age, Jeab showed a great passion for cooking and started cooking when he was just 10 years old.

At 16, Jeab officially started working as a kitchen assistant in one of Bangkok's markets, where he learned the secrets of Thai cuisine. Thanks to his determination and cooking skills, Jeab opened his first restaurant in Bangkok (Baan Thai).
 

Having achieved an established reputation at home, Jeab decided to relocate to Italy. Here, he collaborated with many renowned restaurants, including the "Il Miraggio" restaurant in Fregene. Jeab has also had the opportunity to take his cuisine around the world, collaborating with the Thai Embassy in Rome and working as a chef at SkyChef, which offers catering services for Thai Airways. Recently, he worked as head chef in the Nagathai restaurant in Bologna, which received the prestigious Thai Select award.
 

Currently Jeab is the creative mind behind the delicious dishes on the menu of our Thai restaurant in Rome, PadThaiKung. With her experience, creativity and passion for cooking, Jeab represents the beating heart of our kitchen and is ready to delight our customers with her authentic and tasty dishes.
